COLLABORATION STUDIES WITH MYCENAX BIOTECH, INC.

Scalable and Consistent High Productivity of CHO-MK Cells in Bioreactors

Consistent and efficient upstream bioprocessing across sites is crucial for scaling biologics manufacturing. In collaboration with CHITOSE, Mycenax Biotech, Inc. (MBI) confirmed the reproducibility and scalability of CHO-MK cells in bioreactors through a deliberative process design and systematic optimization of culture strategies. MBI demonstrated the scalability of a high-expression clone derived from CHO-MK cells in bioreactors up to 50 L, consistently producing titers of approximately 8 g/L on day 8.
